Recovering Lutheran: My wife is Tanzanian, and I am an American. We are former missionaries for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Today we are members of a Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) congregation. We proclaim that Jesus is Lord, and that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
