Musings of a Recovering Lutheran: NASA Trip Part 1
O LORD, God of my salvation,
         I have cried out day and night before You.
Let my prayer come before You;
         Incline Your ear to my cry.

Psalm 88:1-2 (NKJV)

NASA Trip Part 1

This past week my family and I went to the Space Center in Houston.

A mockup of the Space Shuttle and its 747 carrier.

My wife and son standing in front of the 747.

The cockpit of the shuttle.

View of the shuttle cargo area.

The crew living area just below the cockpit.

The airlock to the shuttle cargo bay is to the left. To the right is tha hatch for entering/exiting the spacecraft before launch and after landing.
