Musings of a Recovering Lutheran: Marvel at God's creation
I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,

Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?

Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Marvel at God's creation

Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Luke 12:27 (KJV)

(I took these photos a few weeks ago on my home from work.)

Amazing beauty! What a lovely drive home... what part of the country do you live?

We live in Texas, north of Houston. This year we had a wet spring, which led to a large crop of wildflowers..

The Black-Eyed Susans in most of the photos are a pretty tough flower - able to withstand the hot, dry conditions in Texas. This is their time of year (late spring). Early spring brings out the famous Texas bluebonnets and Indian paintbrushes.
