John 3:16 - no longer banned in Vermont

Shawn Byrne, a Vermont man, has won the right to display the Bible verse John 3:16 on his vanity plate. The state will also pay Shawn Byrne's $150,000 legal expenses.

Here is John 3:16:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Yup - really dangerous words. Don't ya feel safer knowing that government is working overtime to protect us from such obvious hate speech?
