Musings of a Recovering Lutheran: Update on Asia Bibi
I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,

Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?

Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Update on Asia Bibi

The Pakistani government has pledged to review the country's blasphemy laws.

Key quote:

On pardoning of Asia Bibi, a Christian woman sentenced to death for blasphemy of Islam, [Pakistan's federal minister for minority affairs Shahbaz] Bhatti said the president will wait for the judicial proceedings.

Bibi's lawyer has said that the proceedings might take years because the case is still in high court and may later go to the Supreme court.

Please continue to pray for Asia Bibi and her family.
